Responsibilities:

• Provides computer aided design (CAD) drafting using Creo Parametric.
• Prepares drawings of various ferrous and non-ferrous parts including electrical wiring harnesses and schematics derived from a variety of specifications and product requirements.
• Utilizes Creo Parametric CAD software and other techniques, standards, and tools to prepare other technical drawings and documentations.
• Interfaces with Engineers and provide CAD design support from project inception. Create prototype, and production released drawings.
• Write Engineering Change Notices (ECO) of all documentation change requests affecting specification drawings, work instructions and other controlled documents.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of bill of materials (BOM).
• Transforms initial rough product designs concepts into working data using Creo Parametric.
• Collaborates with design originators/engineers to resolve any drawing discrepancies.
• Contributes to moderately complex aspects of different projects.

• Ability to work effectively with a team as well as manufacturing to support the creation of CAD data that address often-conflicting requirements.

• Must be able to communicate clearly (written and verbal) to technical and non-technical personnel.
• Ability to thrive in very dynamic work environment where priorities are shifting frequently than normal.
• Acute attention to detail and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering Technology.
• 4-7 years of drafting experience.
• Proficient in the use of Creo Parametric, specifically Sheet Metal and Cabling.
• Proficient in the use of Arena and Windchill PLM
• Deep understanding of the applications of ANSI Y14.5M standard.
• Pre-employment background checks are standard.

• Some repetitive motion activities.
• Visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information.
• Able to use a computer/keyboard for extended periods of time.
• Able to use office & test equipment and computers/peripherals, in a standard office & computer lab environment.
• May be required to lift/move up to 25 lbs. with assistance.
• Fast paced, schedule driven environment.
• Willing and able to work extended hours when necessary.
