We're working on a challenging and incredibly exciting mission: to bring cultured meat to market. Lab work is crucial for this process.

We are currently looking for a lab technician with experience to join Mosa Meat. In your role you will assist the lab manager to ensure the lab and pilot facility are running at all times and keeping the place nice and tidy.

Your responsibilities

• Making sure reusable lab equipment is cleaned throughout the day by operation of the autoclave and glassware washer.
• Supporting the scientific team with equipment preparation and setting up the equipment for experiments.
• Maintain stock levels of glassware, equipment and supplies in Mosa Meat's facilities.
• Collaborate with outside repair personnel to initiate and resolve typical service needs on equipment.
• Support the daily lab duty and the quality control of the lab in the facility.
• Coordinate with the lab manager in many day-to-day activities.

What we're looking for

• Secondary vocational education (MLO) in Cell Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• A hardworking, organized and dedicated team-player, who can independently too.
• Good verbal and written communication skills (minimum B2 level English).
