Job Description

Lilac is seeking a R&D technician to fabricate components, piping, and machinery from print. Responsibilities will include PVC piping and fabrication, welding, using machine shop equipment, using hand tools, and building frames from print. Candidate will also work closely with engineering and aid in design work. Process equipment and systems include bench, pilot, and commercial scale.

Candidate Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on building and fabrication work
• Skilled with hand tools and table-top shop equipment
• Experience with PVC fabrication
• Able to read engineering prints
• Excited to work on a small fast-paced startup team
• Driven to learn quickly and grow with the company

Preferred Skills:

• MIG welding
• Ability to read P&IDs
• Experience with process skids (such as chemical pilot skids, water treatment skids, etc.)
