About the Opportunity

Interested in honing and leveraging your data skills to help customers make better decisions?

We’re looking for someone well versed in data management through tools like Excel to help us quickly address data gaps or errors when implementing or supporting customers. This person must possess an above average attention to detail and be able to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

This role offers various paths for upward mobility, so less experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. 
Our industry is evolving very rapidly, so this role offers unlimited learning opportunities and a priceless chance to bring much needed change to an industry plagued by mistrust and fuzzy carbon accounting math.

We are based in Austin, Texas, but the role is open to the right candidate anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• You will work with customers and data vendors to gather data from various systems and places
• You will format data to make it digestible into the Cleartrace platform
• You will proof data for completeness and accuracy
• You will work with implementation managers, customer success, engineering, and product teams to optimize the data collection and QA process
• You will serve as customer support representative to troubleshoot data issues once platform is live

Required Knowledge/Skills:

• You have advanced excel skills – ie. you know how to use Pivots, VLOOKUPs, Macros, data simulations and more
• You are comfortable with various data file formats
• You have a solid understanding of database architecture and can apply that thinking to real-world scenarios
• You have a customer-first attitude and work to provide excellent customer service

Bonus Knowledge/Skills:

• Working knowledge of SQL or similar
• You’re passionate about climate tech and making an impact on climate change
• You have at least some knowledge of the energy and sustainability industries and the associated data in each
• You have a working knowledge of data streaming integrations
• You have experience with Tableau/PowerBI/Looker
