Business Data Analyst – Supply Chain

The Business Data Analyst is a key member of the Supply Chain team ensuring all materials' KOIs are developed & tracked to increase efficiency and productivity. This role will interact with stakeholders, including buyer/planners and strategic sourcing, logistics, and Finance team members. Data analysis, problem-solving, and diligence are critical skills for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Drive supply chain operations using data analytics & reporting to better understand the business and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor existing metrics, develop & propose new metrics, and identify actionable risk signals.
• Support the implementation of and work within a Tableau Server environment to build, deploy and automate various analyses and dashboard reports.
• Materials Management Dashboard combining pre-award, post-award, and effort assignments in various visual presentations.
• Organize large data sets and summarize key findings to the Supply Chain manager and team in daily/weekly operational reports.
• Database characteristics (tables, fields, valid values) for broader team understanding and decision making, as well as pull data samples from various databases.
• Identify training opportunities and conduct appropriate training for cross-functional teams.
• Review and analyze the quality of our provider interactions.
• Provide recommendations for decisions affecting business operations and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct analysis from existing databases, assess data, data reports, and the accompanying decisions.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in the manufacturing and supply chain industry.
• Experience with Supply Chain data analysis and modeling using Excel (2 years) and SQL (1 year).
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and people skills.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics.
• Experience working with B2B marketing is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain operation or related field.
• Enterprising spirit and comfort navigating fast-paced environments.
• Visualization tools such as Tableau and MS Power BI.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and influential skills.
