Macro-Eyes is recruiting a Finance Manager dedicated to providing financial leadership and analysis and be a key liaison between the leadership and deployment teams. You will thrive on driving functional metrics, multitasking, and helping others stay productive. You are someone who is eager to learn while not always knowing what to expect. You will work directly with a talented team of deployment managers, designers, cross-functional engineers, machine learning scientists, and subject area specialists across the organization. You will engage with colleagues, donors, clients, and service providers from around the world to support the deployment of the most advanced technology on the planet.

Finance:

• Accounts payable
• Accounts received
• Manage the relationship with our overseas finance and accounting service
• Analyze country deployment expenses against donor and annual budgets
• Monitor labor spending against approved budgets
• Prepare financial analysis
• Conduct reviews and engage in regular data-driven conversations with deployment managers and leadership team to facilitate decisions and meet donor expectations.

Processes:

• We are a growing company and in need of formalizing and documenting how we do those recurring tasks, and we need someone who can help us organize aspects that run across functions.
• 5-10 years finance/accounting experience demonstrating increasing responsibility and success
• Ability to operate both strategic and detailed levels.
• Excellent written /verbal communication skills and awesome people skills.
• Highly organized including experience working on dynamic cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Smartsheet and/or other enterprise software is a plus.
• Comfortable working as part of a small team in a fast-paced, collaborative but unstructured environment.
• Preferred previous experience working with USG programs, including knowledge of USAID, CDC and other international donor funded mechanisms (World Bank, GAVI, UN Agencies).
• Hustle, passion, and an ability to adapt and grow.
