Who are you?

If you’re motivated by solving real problems for real people then, you’ve come to the right place! As the Firmware Engineer, reporting to the VP of Technology, you will be responsible for supporting the firmware development team in the development and production of our PLC for our new factory. You will be responsible for setting up and programming $24m worth of cutting edge new manufacturing lines for our new extrusion plant.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for setting up and developing the control system for one or more of our new manufacturing lines.
• Design, develop and deploy a new machine coordinator
• Update and create new process for automating existing manufacturing processes and equipment
• Developing, documenting and deploying firmware

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in firmware development
• Experience in developing and debugging firmware
• Proficiency in C, Studio 5000 or Ladder Logic
• Experience working directly with manufacturing engineering teams
• Experience working in a Start-up environment in a bonus
• Worked on Sil2/3 development
