Role Description

Team Overview:

As a regulatory affairs analyst on the Commercial Operations team, you will work with project development and engineering teams to interface with government agencies to ensure that project execution is in compliance with federal or state government regulations and reporting procedures. You will work on existing government funded project grant management, new grant applications, and identifying new opportunities that support commercialization of low-carbon technologies.

  • Accelerate commercialization of clean energy technology by leveraging public and private funding opportunities
  • Partner with project development teams and engineering teams to deliver quarterly/phase technical reports.
  • Coordinate periodical project development review meetings with government agencies.
  • Work with accounting teams to prepare quarterly financial reports required by grant reporting checklist.
  • Be able to identify gaps in regulatory compliance and propose solutions
  • Identify and develop future government funding opportunities for our clean energy tech

What's Essential:

  • BS in communications, engineering, public policy or equivalent years of practical experience
  • Experience working with government funded projects in the energy sector
  • Familiar with government requisition regulations
  • Familiar with federal and/or state grant application and reporting procedures
  • Experience with technical communications

Desirable Experience:

  • Familiar with renewable energy and solar technology
  • Government lobbying experience in the renewable energy sector
  • International funding application experience.
