Job Description:

Lilac is seeking a Vice President, Legal & Compliance to support legal and business operations. Responsibilities will include managing and/or assisting with legal and business aspects of corporate and project financings, mergers and acquisitions, project development, international expansion, non-disclosure agreements, compliance and insurance policies. This person will report directly to Lilac’s Chief Operating Officer. This is a full-time position based in West Oakland. Candidates should be willing to work across a wide range of disciplines,

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: 4+ years at a corporate law firm, with a background in M&A, project finance, or similar
• Detail oriented: Highly organized with strong communication skills
• Professional: Responsible, dependable, strong work ethic
• Skills: Ability to draft contracts, analyze legal issues, engage and manage external counsel
• Innovative: Willingness to propose, test and implement new ideas
