Role Description

This Business Operations Manager role will report to the Senior Director of Operations and will drive the coordination, management, and execution of major cross-functional processes, projects, and initiatives for the organization. You will work collaboratively across Operations, Sales, Product, Tech, and Exec teams and take on some of AmpUp’s most urgent, cross-functional projects. This is ideal for a mid- to upper-level professional with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Create and implement strategies for invoicing and order processing, project management and coordination across teams
• Document workflows and processes that can be automated and scaled
• Ensure information and documentation provided by Sales in the CRM is sufficient for all downstream processes
• Keep us up to date on Accounts Payable and Receivable, work with Tech team to ensure all ports on our network are invoiced & paid for
• Work with external finance consultant on taxes, FP&A, reconciliation of all accounts and revenue streams
• Support employee onboarding/offboarding, and the interface between AmpUp’s HR platforms and finance software (QuickBooks Online)
• Support planning and logistics for all hands get togethers
• Research benefit plans to ensure our benefits are employee-centric and robust

Qualifications & Work Location
Essential:

• 10+ years of experience working in business operations, developing and improving upon workflows and business processes
• High-level understanding of US GAAP Accounting and financial statement principles
• Experience with CRMs and Financial Accounting software (i.e. PipeDrive & QuickBooks)
• A highly entrepreneurial “roll up your sleeves” mindset; excited about making an impact at a fast-growing company
• Strong influencing skills and ability to work successfully in a cross-functional matrixed organization
• Excellent ability to listen and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and build strong working relationships
• Demonstrates comfort with ambiguity and change
• Effortlessly juggles multiple competing initiatives through rigorous prioritization.

Preferred:

• Experience with Electric Vehicles, Electric Vehicle Chargers, or Electric Vehicle Charging Networks

Work Location:
You can choose to work fully remote or if you are collocated with our office/lab in South Windsor, CT you can drop by once it is open in Q3 2022. There will be some travel required for quarterly company all hands get-togethers.
