Reporting to our Director of Supply Chain, this key position will drive on time delivery and cost reductions. This role will require interaction with the entire Sunfolding team and a high-level of coordination and planning.

Responsibilities
- Purchase materials, supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization.
- Qualify vendors, evaluate bids, and negotiate prices and terms for purchased goods and services.
- Manage complex third party supplier and manufacturing with responsibilities of buying, planning and logistics.
- Track purchases, monitor vendor quality, and maintain a current database of vendor information.
- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers.
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible
- Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
- Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers.
- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
- Provide quotes as requested.
- Provide feedback to internal customers and update reports daily.
- Manage supplier logistics to Sunfolding customer sites.
Requirements
- Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.

- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 6-8 years buying experience
- Excellent knowledge of planning and quality control principles
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems, NetSuite preferred
- Working knowledge of logistics
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem solving abilities
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
