ROLE PROFILE

SOURCE Global, PBC, an Arizona-based company developing water-from-air drinking water systems, is seeking a mid-level Cloud Software Developer to join a growing team as we bring the product to market. This is a full-time employment position. The successful candidate will be a team player and leader, take a hands-on approach, collaborates well with others, and be passionate about their work. The Cloud Software Developer will be a key developer of Cloud systems that manages the global network of SOURCE product lines.

In this role, you will:

• Identify, analyze, and define software requirements
• Design software using object-oriented techniques and patterns
• Write software that integrates systems and data in the Cloud
• Write and execute unit and integration tests
• Perform functional verification and system integration testing
• Follow an Agile development methods and practices
• Maintain version control of source code
• Participate as a Software Development Lifecycle team member
• Collaborate in Cloud architecture and design

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant, commercial Python programming experience
• Strong programming skills using Python 3 (Java and Javascript a strong plus)
• Object-oriented programming analysis and design skills
• Relational database query skills using SQL (Postgres a strong plus)
• HTTP other communications protocols
• Some Web application development a plus (React.js a strong plus)
• Understanding of software version control using git (GitHub or Bitbucket strong plus)
• Comfortable in an Agile development environment (JIRA a strong plus)
• A hands-on and data-driven approach to problem-solving
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced and always-evolving environment
