Macro-Eyes is recruiting a Deployment Coordinator (remote) dedicated to supporting a global health portfolio of projects. You will work in a dynamic environment and support all aspects of the day-to-day from partner relations, stakeholder engagement, product integration, and customer satisfaction.
You will work directly with a talented team of deployment managers, product managers, designers, cross-functional engineers, machine learning scientists and subject area specialists across the organization. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for collaboration and product integration. You will engage with national leaders and frontline health workers from around the world with the most advanced technology on the planet.
Your success will result in scaling life changing solutions for the world’s most vulnerable populations.
- Support Managers across a portfolio of development projects with new and existing deployments of machine learning technologies in multiple countries.
- Contribute to work planning, scope of work development and maintain project-related documentation.
- Work with the communications team on the development of internal/external briefs, reports and contracts.
- Support and actively contribute to improved project management processes and accelerated learning.
- Operational excellence.
- Coordinate meetings and foster collaboration with key stakeholders including ministries of health, international donors, implementing partners, and relevant working groups.
- Leverage strong communication skills and a passion for using data to drive better health outcomes at scale.
- Work directly with Deployment Managers to identify opportunities to improve and expand the use of Macro-Eyes products, tools, and analytics.
- Travel as needed to engage with our partners across the world.
- 3-5 years’ experience supporting international development initiatives in different country contexts, preferably health-related.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills including experience working on dynamic cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience working with donor funded programs, including knowledge of USAID, CDC and other international donor funding and program implementation mechanisms.
- Comfortable working as part of a small team in a fast-paced, collaborative but unstructured environment.
- Fluency in French is a plus.
- Hustle and passion.
WE’RE EXCITED IF YOU ALSO HAVE THESE CAPABILITIES:
- Experience working with teams using Agile development processes.
- Prefer fluency in French and experience with international donor-funded projects.
WHAT WE’LL ASK OF YOU:
- Take a task and run with it. There’s not a lot of hierarchy, and everybody organically occupies the space they’re given to get something done.
- Speak up. We all learn every day. We constantly figure out things we’ve never done before. Ask for help, say when you need something.
- Be forthcoming and accountable. About time, scope, questions, needs, options, deliverables.
- Be nice to work with. Nothing extraordinary was ever achieved alone.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
- A data-first mindset with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
- Comfortable working with a small team in a fast-paced, collaborative but unstructured environment.
- Experience working on dynamic cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Energy, boundless curiosity, open-mindedness.
- Care to do something right for the sake of doing it right.
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Respect for audiences and users. Willingness to step into someone else’s shoes (and the imagination to do so).
WHY YOU WANT TO WORK WITH US:
- We develop technology and products that save lives and help organizations do more with fewer resources — and we break new ground in AI by creating systems that can learn in some of the most challenging environments on earth: real-world impact and state-of-the-art science.
- We are rapidly growing — globally — and engaged in many of the most important issues of our time. Being part of Macro-Eyes is rich in opportunity.
- You get the chance to shape the world, bend it towards progress!
- You get to work with an amazing group of people.
- You can work from almost anywhere, although less than 6 hours from EST tends to be optimal.
- This role will be remote with the freedom to choose how and when to work. Macro-Eyes was fully remote before COVID-19 and we expect to continue to be a fully remote team. US-based candidates are preferred. You will have access to your choice of hardware and a travel budget to interact with the distributed team in person.
