About This Opportunity
You will lead our end-to-end integrated supply chain, including planning, sourcing, fulfillment, and logistics. You’ll optimize and enhance our operating capabilities, ensure consistent source of supply and oversee product initiatives from procurement and vendor management to logistics and distribution.
You will help us jump into the next phase of growth as we expand our product offerings and new channels, while growing and developing a robust supply and distribution network.
How you’ll make an Impact:
- Drive overall supply chain strategy and execution, both short-term and long-term, across supply, inventory, 3PLs, transportation, manufacturing, and project management
- Optimize customer fulfillment, ensuring our service levels meet the needs of our customers and business
- Directly oversee and manage relationships with partners/vendors; develop and maintain relationships with the full supply chain
- Ensure the right tools are being developed, utilized, and maintained (software, communications, hardware, partnerships, etc)
- Keep up with general supply chain trends and commodity pricing
- Evaluate current supply chain partnerships to determine the need to source and negotiate with new vendors/suppliers (freight, 3PL, manufacturing, material providers)
- Establish a working relationship with multiple internal stakeholders including finance, sales, and engineering
- Negotiate with suppliers to maintain and increase margins
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience as a purchasing/supply chain/inventory manager or similar position, preferably in a small company or startup that manufactures equipment
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and/or supply chain management software
- Solution oriented with a strong analytical mindset
- Comfortable working independently and in a remote team environment
- Ability to be agile and grow quickly
Would Be Great if you Have:
- 5+ years of Supply Chain/Operations experience
- Experience building and managing a diverse and distributed Supply Chain Operations team
- Experience with various tools; shopify, Google Suite, Netsuite, Returnly, etc
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Intellectual curiosity with an ability to learn quickly
