The role

We are looking for a passionate IT Support Intern or Working Student (x/f/m). As an IT Support Intern/Working Student, you will be responsible for providing support for the day-to-day operation of our offices and colleagues with our internal systems, desktop and hardware support, and account creation, both in-person and remotely. You are the first contact for IT-related issues.

What you will be doing

• Provide support for all your colleagues regarding IT related topics
• Assist with the technical onboardings and offboarding and deploying new hardware, software, and accounts to our employees on a mix of Windows and Mac devices
• Install and upgrade computer components and software
• Troubleshoot network and access issues
• Advise all Formo’s employees on the management of hardware and software
• Assist in maintaining inventory and material forecast
• Manage permissions, create new mailboxes and mailboxes groups
• Maintain IT control documentation and manage software licenses

Job requirements

Who you are

• Enrolled in computer science, information technology, or similar field of education
• Interested in learning end-to-end IT infrastructure
• Knowledge of server operating systems, such as Windows and Linux
• First experience with network configuration is a plus
• You are a fast learner and continuously improve yourself and your work. You actively help, give feedback and act upon feedback you receive
• You are interested in solving incidents: equipment and their configuration (software, operating system, hardware, and network)
• You have great communication skills in English, German is a plus
• Prior experience with IT projects would be a plus
