The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and service-oriented individual to join us in an IT Manager Role as part of the Security & IT team at Span. This position will own Span’s internal IT infrastructure, IT Support function and will also assist with ongoing security and compliance activities. The position is hands-on but broad reaching.

If you are scrappy and no work is too small for you, you can think big and support the infrastructure for our team as we scale, there will be ample opportunities for career growth. Responsibilities include:

• Manage the user access provisioning, user offboarding process of Span’s business applications.
• Security Administration of all Span’s business applications
• Provide end user support, day to day troubleshooting and develop the helpdesk function at Span
• Author and implement IT specific standard operating procedures.
• Manage IT vendors including contract negotiations and due diligence.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain our internal Meraki based corporate network and wifi infrastructure.
• Author and maintain end-user IT Employee Handbook (FAQs, training manuals, acceptable use policies, etc.).
• Keep all internal IT systems compliant to key security frameworks & certifications (e.g SOC 2, ISO 27001 etc).
• Responsibility for maintaining and administering the internal phone system.
• Responsible for audio-visual set up in conference rooms and meeting areas.
• Responsible for IT asset management and provisioning of new hire equipment.

**About You **

We are seeking an IT Manager who has:

• 5+ years in an IT/Systems management role
• Expertise with Mac OS X, Linux and Microsoft Windows 7/8
• Skilled communicator with a service oriented attitude
• 2+ years supporting IP based phone systems
• Experience with network administration (routers, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, wifi, etc.). Expertise with Meraki a plus
• Experience with virtual machine technology such as VMware, VirtualBox etc.
• 2+ years working with IT compliance and policies & procedures
• Certifications like MCSE, RHCE, CCNA are a plus
