Position Overview
The Maintenance Planner position will provide comprehensive support and is responsible for reviewing, planning, and scheduling various work requests that are submitted by Manufacturing Operations and/or Engineering. This process will consist of the management of work orders through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), ordering of parts and materials as needed, and cross-functional collaboration with team members and groups across the organization. The preferred candidate will have an equal mix of technical and social skills to meet the needs of the maintenance department, as well as the ability to work with maintenance and operations to drive reliability and maintainability processes. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager and collaborate with team members located at the manufacturing facility.
About the Role – You Will:
- Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level.
- Assists in managing machine spare parts and controlling inventory levels necessary to meet maintenance activity requirements.
- Assists in managing work orders, assets, and documentation within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Champion reliability and maintainability processes to include driving continuous improvement, documenting and maintaining processes and procedures applicable to maintenance, and optimizing asset performance.
- Responsible for preventive maintenance optimization activities and processes.
- Completes necessary documentation to ensure job plan documentation is current, follows all necessary change control procedures, and updates job plans to reflect process improvements and changes.
- Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities.
- Other duties as assigned my management.

Your Experience Includes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Maintenance-based experience with mechanical and electrical equipment in a highly technical manufacturing environment.
- 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- 1-3 years of work experience as a Planner in a manufacturing plant or similar industry.
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office or Windows-based software for reporting purposes
- Environmental Demands Include: Ability to work in manufacturing environment with extreme heat and cold conditions; Wear protective clothing or respiratory protective equipment. Works with irritant chemicals, gases, etc.
