Job Overview

We are seeking a junior Manager level professional (0-5 years of post-MBA experience) to shape the India Strategy & drive key projects across functions and learning our business, hone their skills, and find the right permanent place in our growing organization. The role will provide an individual with broad exposure to the various business departments and operational areas at Terviva.

You will report to the SVP & Country GM - India Business Unit and provide project management support for the company's strategic planning and other corporate operations projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: You will be primarily responsible for creating & managing updates to the India Business Unit Plan Tracker, producing different business scenarios, sensitivity analysis including preparing for and helping to facilitate monthly and quarterly strategic planning reviews with the Executive Team.
  • Sales & Marketing Strategy: You will be responsible for estimating the market potential for oil, protein & by-product sales in India & creating launch strategy for the same.
  • Support the development of business plans and financial models in service of emerging and existing business geographies,
  • Collect, classify and interpret intelligence, related to agriculture and environmental markets, from primary and secondary sources,
  • Communicate findings to the team that influence decision-making and business outcomes, and
  • Support project managers with robust analytics on long term planning projects and ad hoc requests.
  • You will be responsible for managing key external stakeholder relationships with regulators, industry bodies, future customers.
  • Key Stakeholder relationship management including the Global Executive Committee.
  • Support the SVP in drafting and distributing a quarterly board update,
  • Manage shareholder requests via our ticketing system, and partner with appropriate team members across the organization to fulfill requests as needed.
  • Advisory Board and Board of Directors relationship management:
  • Working with the SVP to prepare an agenda and meeting materials for tri-annual advisory board meetings.
  • Support SVP in preparing an agenda, board deck and supporting materials for quarterly board meetings.
  • Manage any advisory board/board meeting scheduling and ad hoc requests.

Requirements, Education and Experience

  • 0-5 years of post-MBA work experience.
  • Experience with financial modeling and competitive market research.
  • Demonstrably excellent project and process management skills.
  • Experience with internal and external stakeholder management (investor relations is a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize work volume while being responsive regarding turnaround times.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, venture capital, food industry would be an advantage.
