Ambri, an energy startup commercializing an innovative battery technology first developed at MIT, is seeking a Production Technician. This position will work on the Advanced Manufacturing Team and report directly to the Senior Manager, while working alongside leading battery scientists and engineers.

Position Overview

To support commercial and R&D cell production as part of the fabrication team to build commercial batteries. The positions will help with operations during the final assembly of the battery. Most daily duties will involve working with hands and tools as well as within glove boxes.

Responsibilities:

• Working with Engineers and other Technicians to assemble metal fabrications. This includes using hand tools and measurement equipment.
• Working closely with Supervisors and Engineers to execute on production plans.
• Following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Logging all essential information from daily tasks into appropriate databases.

Requirements:

• Experience working in fabrication or assembly
• Experience with glove boxes is a plus.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measurement devices.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• General comfort working in a laboratory or industrial work environment.
• Must be safety oriented and able to read, understand and constantly follow company wide safety instructions.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and clearly communicate (written and orally) with Engineers.
