About the Role – You will:
- Support sub-system and vehicle integration activity for Proterra Powered projects
- Provide technical support to customer OEM and attend meetings and reviews scheduled with the OEM
- Provide timely closure of issues affecting quality, reliability and durability by utilizing problem solving skills to resolve customer test, build, and field incidents
- Support customer design activities, such as application reviews, to balance packaging, design, manufacturability, quality, financial and service requirements
- Support launch of new customer product content into the field
- Work closely with the customer OEM to understand, document, and execute sub-system and vehicle requirements and specification
- Communicate and interpret customer design requirements to internal development engineers
- Support timely completion of development and integration deliverables necessary to meet planned production capacity ramp
- Develop, support, and maintain application documentation for Proterra Powered products
- Meet corporate objectives for cost, quality, and efficiency
- Ensure engineering processes are consistently and effectively utilized

- You will report to the Staff Integration Engineer and collaborate with other engineering team members located in Greenville, SC.

Your Experiences Include:
- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
- 0-3 years of progressive engineering experience with vehicle design, performance, or systems integration experience
- Commercial bus, heavy truck or automotive vehicle systems development or integration experience required
