Lilac is seeking a Capital Projects Engineering Manager to provide overall technical leadership and engineering management for large/complex brine extraction projects ($500MM+) with a focus on structural, mechanical, piping and electrical disciplines. The candidate will interface with Lilac’s design and fabrication teams and the EPCM contactors. The candidate will be responsible for defining and maintaining the engineering standards, specifications and procedures for Lilac Projects. The candidate will be required to support the permitting process with technical definition of the project and facilities. The Engineering Manager will define technical development areas for optimization and risk reduction for the overall project flowsheet. The Engineering Manager will report to the Director of Engineering Studies and liaise with Project Managers and Project Engineers for various projects as required. Travel will be required to the EPCM engineering contractor location and project sites. Initially the projects are in South America and the US. Experience managing complex and challenging EPC projects is preferred. This is a full-time position.
