Macro-Eyes is recruiting for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build infrastructure which powers our AI products. Your work will allow Macro-Eyes users across the world to interact with our products in a fast and responsive way and enable our ML and engineering team to work with sensitive data in a controlled and convenient environment. You will build infrastructure from the ground up in a reproducible and repeatable way with a special emphasis on data security. Your success will result in scaling life-changing solutions for the world’s most vulnerable populations.
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will collaborate with Program Management teams to understand business requirements and ML OPS and ML team to understand technical requirements. You will further collaborate with your peers on the team to design and define the solution and implement it.
- Develop, build and deploy cloud infrastructure.
- Primary focus on data security.
- Create performant and efficient deployments.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and MLops teams to align on solutions.
- Follow best-practices for security, test coverage, performance.
- Avoid technical debt, identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
- 3+ years’ experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools and code collaboration platforms.
- Proficient understanding of IaaC frameworks, Terraform is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of AWS, primarily Lambda, API Gateway, RDS Strong.
- Self-motivation and self-management.
- Ability to work in a fully remote setting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Our remote team was executing at the highest level before COVID-19, and we expect to continue to be a largely remote, high-performing team. In continuation of defying the trend, we will open our first physical offices in 2022.
