ZeroAvia is a leader in zero-emission aviation, flying the world's largest hydrogen-electric aircraft since September 2020. Its focus is the design and commercialization of hydrogen-electric engines to address a variety of markets, initially targeting short-haul, sub-regional commercial flights up to 500 miles. To date, ZeroAvia has secured the UK CAA and FAA experimental permit to fly for its 19 seat aircraft, passed significant ground tests, and is on track for commercial deliveries by 2024. Its achievements to date were rewarded by the UK prime minister by inviting ZeroAvia as a member to the UK Jet Zero Council and the company is also a Bloomberg NEF Pioneer, Fast Company World Changing Idea and World Economic Forum technology pioneer.
Adopting zero-emission flight requires broad support from industry, policymakers, passengers and the public at large. The digital marketing executive will be an integral part of helping the leader in the space bring the potential of zero-emission flight to the attention of those who can make the vision a reality.
The Digital Marketing Associate will work with the marketing & communications team to plan, execute, and analyze awareness raising and lead capture campaigns across digital channels (website, social media channels, emails).
Responsibilities
- Play a crucial role in driving ZeroAvia’s digital presence, promoting zero-emission aviation and the company’s leadership position to help drive a new product in an exciting new market.
- Assist in the planning and execution of global digital marketing campaigns and day-to-day management of all digital properties (including social media and website), ensuring consistency of brand messaging across digital platforms.
- Develop new and creative growth strategies, research and suggest tools to optimise engagement, reach and impact.
- Plan and execute paid digital campaigns to extend reach, grow general and targeted awareness, facilitate greater engagement with key audiences and capture Marketing Qualified Leads.
- Manage email communications including monthly newsletters with focus on increasing open rates, CTR and growing subscriber base over time
- Formalise best practice for measuring activities across digital channels and establishing metrics for ROI/success, and develop detailed, insight-driven reports with clear strategic outputs.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications
- You must have a few years of relevant experience in social media and digital marketing, ideally with experience in one or more of the following areas: energy, sustainability or aviation.
- Strong working knowledge of using social media to build an organic following, including for B2B companies.
- Detailed understanding of how to manage paid programmes across key channels - including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
- Up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and marketing automation (Pardot) tools preferred.
- Experience of managing and optimising web content via WordPress CMS and/or experience working with HTML/ESPs for high quality email communications programmes.
- A genuine passion for clean technology and the future of electric aviation.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a can-do attitude and ability to learn quickly.
- Exceptional copywriting skills to enable high quality, impactful and clickable content.
