Allume is an Australian company that has recently expanded into the €45 billion European market. The team currently consists of a European General Manager and a Business Development and Technical Support team. We have a solid commercial strategy and have already gained significant traction since entering the UK market 6 months ago. What is missing from this, is the marketing strategy and implementation. Working in partnership with the Australian and US offices, there is a huge opportunity to set the strategic marketing direction in Europe of this rapidly growing business unit. However, as a new business unit, we also need this person to commit to rolling up their sleeves and delivering their vision.

The first European market we have entered is the UK, so the focus initially will be there. Our European growth will take place within the next 12 months. This growth will also see a further expansion in the team to help support the sales and marketing efforts.

Position

They will work across a diverse set of teams, functions, and geographies to develop effective marketing strategies that clearly articulate business and product value propositions to Allume’s customers and industry stakeholders.

The specialist will also be accountable for budget forecasting and management for the marketing function. This includes the management of external marketing consultants and a future team.

The role will shape Allume’s marketing efforts through the implementation and continuous improvement of tailored strategic marketing for each customer segment in a manner consistent with Allume’s corporate brand, and the global business development growth strategy.
