Role Description

We are a rapidly growing technology company providing electric utilities with the real-time monitoring and analytics needed to secure the future of the grid.

Our patented non-contact sensors collect critical information to unlock additional capacity on existing lines, provide insight into conductor health, and detect anomalies and risks. The platform is rapidly deployed at scale without the need for scheduled outages, live line work, or specialized installation equipment. 
We are helping our utility partners around the world lead the energy transition by increasing the capacity, resilience, and safety of the grid.

The successful Engineering Program Manager will be an integral member of LineVision’s technical team, enabling the company’s growth and scale by ensuring the successful definition, development and delivery of complex programs
This position reports to the Director of Engineering, and works closely with the R&D, Software, Analytics and Product teams.

What will you do?

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful definition, development and delivery of complex software and hardware programs
  • Effectively manage and communicate all aspects of program status (features/ specifications/schedule/budget) to internal and external stakeholders

Within Three Months:

  • Ramp up on LineVision technology, business and development processes
  • Secure early wins by managing in-flight programs
  • Successfully kick off new programs per LineVision’s product roadmap

Within Six Months:

  • Become the trusted, go-to source of information on program execution to our internal development teams, cross-functional stakeholders and partners

Within a Year and Beyond:

  • Build a track record of program management excellence by consistently achieving project schedule milestones per scope, resource and budget constraints
  • Implement LineVision’s Quality Management System and development processes to achieve ISO 9001 certification

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • B.S. degree in engineering or a related technical degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification highly desired
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including proven ability to successfully manage complex hardware and/or software programs from concept to delivery
  • Technical chops to: deep-dive into program details, ask insightful questions, challenge respectfully, identify, mitigate and remove project risks
  • Mastery of an Agile, yet rigorous new product introduction process
  • Exceptional communication skills to keep all stakeholders informed of project status
  • Ability and willingness to occasionally travel to contract manufacturers, remote offices and/or customer install locations as necessary
