Ambri, an energy startup commercializing an innovative battery technology first developed at MIT, is seeking a at MIT, is seeking an Engineering Technician. This position will work on the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Team and report directly to the Senior Manager, while working alongside leading battery scientists and engineers.

Position Overview

As an individual contributor, the successful candidate will be a reliable and valuable team member eager to support our commercial and R&D cell production teams. Working with parts used inside for assembling our battery, this role is responsible for cleaning various operations and preparing parts for eventual use. The candidate will work with vapor degreasers and other industrial cleaning equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail in handling the components.

Responsibilities:

• Work with industrial cleaning equipment such as vapor degreasers and ultrasonic cleaners
• Move parts to and from various work-stations in the facility using carts
• Provide general assistance to others for material handling and cleaning
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Log all essential information from daily tasks into appropriate databases
• Perform other duties as may be required

Requirements:

• Hands on job requiring dexterity and ability to manipulate and maneuver parts of various sizes and weights
• Excellent attention to detail
• General comfort working in a laboratory or industrial work environment
• Skilled with hands and familiarity with tools
• Computer experience for basic data entry
