Job Description

The Mechanical Designer will prepare drawings used for equipment fabrication, mechanical (process piping), and electrical disciplines. The Designer will work closely with engineers to produce and update drawings of process engineering packages. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing work of high quality and accuracy.

Candidate Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in industrial design
• Technically competent in AutoCAD and SolidWorks 3D or AutoDesk Inventor
• Must be able to complete P&IDs, 2D, 3D, and isometric drawings for process design packages
• Must have experience working on design packages for chemical, petrochemical, or water treatment processes
• Experience with Piping Design or Plant Design/Plant Layout a plus
• Excited to work on a small, fast-paced startup team
• US work permit
