The Role

The Plant Performance Program Manager will lead the Operational Technology Team’s initiative to offer best in class Performance Testing support as well as build Operational Performance Capability. This role will be responsible for choosing the right instrumentation and placement to meet the customer’s need during the plant design phase. They will also be a partner with EPCs to continuously improve the Plant SCADA system to streamline Performance Test related activities.

The Plant Performance Program Manager will be responsible for the architecture of the offsite Power Plant Data storage system that will be used to perform analytics. This role will be responsible for creating a Performance Reporting function as well as improving existing reporting capabilities. This development will span across cloud-based systems as well as on-premises hardware. All design choices must comply with NERC-CIP and other Data Security policies as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the selection and verification of instrumentation for PV and Battery Plants.
  • Assist EPC Performance Engineer with performance tests.
  • Design screens and reports to help with commissioning efforts.
  • Lead effort to improve standard offering of integrated performance metrics and reporting in SCADA offering.
  • Provide insight for Architecture of Analytics Infrastructure.
  • Interface with customers to answer questions and capture feedback.
  • Any other actions required by management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or related.
  • 5 years of PV Plant Performance testing and reporting experience
  • 5 years of MS SQL experience
  • 4 years of using Plant Predict for PV Plant Performance
  • 3 years of PV Syst experience for PV Plant Performance
  • 1 year of Utility Scale Battery Plant Performance Reporting
  • Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States.
  • Travel, 10%
