Lilac is seeking a chemical engineer to lead technical process engineering management of studies and detailed engineering for commercial scale lithium brine extraction projects. Responsibilities will include managing the technical integration of Lilac’s Direct Lithium Extraction with the overall flowsheet for the processing facility. The candidate will manage the process engineering aspects related to overall production, yield, energy efficiency, and water efficiency to optimize the performance of the projects. Stages of project development will include preliminary economic analysis, permitting, prefeasibility, feasibility and detailed engineering. The candidate will support commissioning planning and take learnings from pilot/demonstration/commercial operations to improve subsequent projects. Periodic travel will be required to the EPCM engineering contractor location and project sites. This is a full-time position.
