Job Description:

Lilac is seeking a chemical process engineer to work on ion exchange systems and other water processing technologies for lithium production. Responsibilities will include designing, building, testing, and operating process equipment and systems at bench, pilot, and commercial scale. This person will travel to commission plants across the US, South America, and Europe. This is a full-time position.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in chemical, mechanical, or materials engineering
• Experience with lab work and/or fabrication
• Highly organized with sharp attention to numerical and scientific detail
• Passion for industrial chemistry and sustainable mining
• Adventurous spirit for global travel and operations at remote locations
• Excited to work on a small fast-paced startup team with a drive to succeed and grow with the company
