Chewie Labs is an early-stage start-up whose mission is to impact climate change by bringing user-centered design, technology, & magic to reducing waste.

This is a 3 month contract with opportunity to extend.
Being a part of the Product Support team at a small scale company offers a very unique opportunity. In this position you would be a key part in ensuring the success and learnings of the early product testing. You will be able to have a hand in shaping products that the company will eventually launch to a much larger market.

As the Product Support Technician Contractor you’ll

• Travel as needed in major U.S. cities.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of devices and spare parts between the office, factory, and field testing locations.
• Triage, documentation of needed support services
• Maintain a prioritized list of devices in need of repairs and or updates.
• Perform basic repairs and troubleshooting efforts on devices
• Engage directly with customers on device setup, usage, and troubleshooting procedures as needed.

Ideally you’ll have

• Proficiency with mechanical and electrical reworks on consumer electronics
• Experience following and creating standard operating procedures
• Extensive hand-tools experience (you have great familiarity with assembling & disassembling products)
• Customer service or similar customer engagement experience
• Track record of running and leading operational projects/process improvement implementations
• Experience working in a high-growth, dynamic environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
