Conducts quality checks on the functionality of parts and components.
Updates productivity records and writing incident reports, if relevant.
Follows standard operating procedure defined in Sub assembly and Final Assembly Process
Able to understand the drawing requirements of Sub and Final Assembly Process
Responsible for production monitoring on Sub Assembly and Final Assembly Process
Trains and supervises new employees (technicians and operators).
Collaborates proactively with contract manufacturing, engineers and other departments to complete assigned tasks with high regards to respect
Ensures proactive approach in obtaining relevant and updated information related to company policies and procedures with immediate supervisor and managers
Escalates process or equipment issues encountered during Sub and Final Assembly processing
Identifies need for quality assurance and documents defects issues.
Maintains tool parts and consumable parts inventory
Performs preventive maintenance on Sub Assembly and Final Assembly Process
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks needed
Secures good quality production based on specifications and criteria given
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
Reports in timely manner any safety or health related incidents or any monitoring required by immediate supervisor, manager or EHS team
Maintains a safe and clean workstation through active participation in 5S and safety and lean manufacturing programs
Performs other relevant tasks that maybe assigned from time to time by immediate superior and manager
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Vocational equivalent courses or any engineering and technical degree
With NCI or NCII related trainings are preferred
With manufacturing and safety related trainings are preferred
Working knowledge of safety protocols and safety management
With more than 1-year experience as manufacturing technician in high volume manufacturing, preferably with solar, electronics or assembly set up
Working knowledge of equipment maintenance
Intermediate to expert experience level in MS Office tools such as excel, powerpoint and word
Experience in Failure Analysis with strong analytical skills
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical measuring instruments/tools
Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
Able to think out of the box, quality oriented, perform risk analysis and mitigation and manage changes
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and can work with flexible schedule as deemed necessary
