Tigo is growing rapidly, and in order to efficiently serve the high levels of inbound demand and generate targeted outbound demand, we’re looking for a sales development representative to find and screen potential solar installers, designers, contractors, EPC’s and other businesses who can benefit from our products and services.
As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal sales development representatives are excited to engage with customers, understand the sales process, excel at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and can showcase our offerings in a compelling way.

Responsibilities
- Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to research to identify how our solutions meet the needs of our B2B customers (installers, EPC’s, etc.)
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects that connect with Tigo via our events, webinars, website, and more
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Build a list of targeted accounts based on internal and external research and develop plans to engage with them
- Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
- Utilize Salesforce (CRM), Hubspot (Marketing automation), cold calling, and email to generate new leads for our sales teams.
- Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and sales executives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Experience with CRM systems
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
- Preferred experience in the solar and or energy storage industries
- Preferred 1-3 years of Business to Business (B2B) sales experience
