The Role:

This role is the primary resource for operational functions and sales support associated with driving revenue and margin initiatives for Meati Foods. Key functions will include planning/forecasting, inventory management, direct interaction with retail partners, support of Meati Sales Leadership, and daily monitoring of overall business trends and operational performance. This position plays an important role being involved in real time business issues and suggesting immediate action plans to address issues and take advantage of opportunities. This role will interact frequently with internal cross functional operational teams to ensure open flows of communication and that initiatives are acted upon in a timely manner. There will also be frequent interaction with retail partners, license partners, etc that are external of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Become a leading resource on customer specific needs and requirements while providing timely communication to both the account and company ensuring you meet the needs and requirements of both
• Coordinate and track sales performance to expectations and help formulate future shipment plans based on the results
• Work very closely with customer demand planning teams, sales leadership on all aspects of retail and foodservice partner needs.
• Lead monthly forecast meetings with retail partner’s planning teams and internal Meati planning/production teams and supply chain.
• Help manage promotions/events both internally and externally
• Partner with sales leadership to coordinate and build customer presentations and business reviews
• Work on customer specific needs such as samples, set up of new items and displays, offering timely communication to both the account and company ensuring you meet the needs and requirements of both

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience working in the consumer products industry, preferably in a sales related role
• Ability to interpret retail sales data and make proactive and productive recommendations
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail and proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products including Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience leading/managing projects and initiatives
• Must be able to set priorities and juggle several tasks
• Ability to anticipate and/or identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Ability to think creatively and offer suggestions/ideas related to North America Business Expansion opportunities
• Ability to travel about 25% of time.
• Bachelor’s Degree (Concentration in Business Preferred)

Compensation: $100-110K + Target Incentive Bonus + Equity
