**Team Overview: **
The Plant Engineering team is focused on the design and development of the next generation of our Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) plants. In this role, you will work closely with other our design groups, manufacturing groups and outside consultants. This is a key role within the team. Developing innovative and cost-effective designs (that work seamlessly within the larger framework of the current and future plants) is critical for our ability to harness solar energy efficiently. You will also be reviewing/redlining structural drawings for on-going projects that are currently under design or construction.

What's Essential:
- Passion for renewable energy and solving the world’s climate challenge
- Degree in Civil Engineering from accredited university
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Demonstrable experience interpreting and implementing the Specification for Structural Steel Buildings AISC 360.
- Expertise in interpreting and implementing the International Building Code.
- Experience providing drawing and data packages to regulatory bodies.
- 10+ years of experience in technical development environments, including at least 2 years in cross-functional project/program management roles.
- Broad and strong technical understanding of structures, and ability to come up to speed quickly on innovative technologies or industries.
- Proficient in 3D structural analysis and design software (ETABS/AutoCAD/Staad Pro or equivalent)
- Willing and able to travel occasionally to provide on-site construction supervision and management support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, bridging internal and external teams while ensuring understanding and alignment.
- Track record of driving projects to successful completion.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and to integrate latest information as it becomes available.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, Project, SharePoint, etc.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with large industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects.
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. desirable
- Previous consulting experience
