About CarbonCure Technologies

CarbonCure Technologies is an award-winning clean technology company leading a global mission to reduce the carbon footprint of concrete – the world’s most used building material. Our vision is to drive an annual reduction of 500 megatonnes of carbon dioxide(CO2) emissions; the equivalent of removing 100 million cars from the road. Our technology has been installed in over 400 concreteplants in North America, Asia, and Europe. CarbonCure is proud to be named the Cleantech Group Global 100’s Top North American Company in 2020, and the winner of the global NRG COSIA Carbon XPRIZE. We are backed by Breakthrough Energy Ventures, the Amazon Climate Pledge Fund, and Mitsubishi.

Our Culture

Our team is made up of energetic, entrepreneurial individuals who are passionate about driving meaningful solutions to combat climate change. Besides being dedicated to our mission, we believe in work-life balance and active involvement in our local community. We value integrity and accountability; and our core values include high performance, collaboration, straight-talk, and continued innovation. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we are here to change the world.

Purpose Driven Position

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, the Sr. Manager of Internal Communications will establish an internal communications system and strategies in collaboration with the Leadership, People & Culture and Marketing teams. The Sr. Manager’s goal will be to ensure that organizational programs, projects and policies are clearly and consistently communicated among employees and stakeholders. The Sr. Manager’s contributions will also build upon our exceptional, mostly virtual workplace culture and reinforce our core values. Supporting the Leadership and People & Culture teams, the Sr. Manager will be a primary advisor and editor on communication to staff, board members, investors and/or other key stakeholders, including managing company-wide meeting agendas (e.g. Town Halls), key company announcements, presentations and materials for company-wide meetings, programming, special events and other activities, internal messaging platforms and internal newsletters. In addition, the Sr. Manager will play a key role in advancing the company’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) with communication of EDI priorities and support for EDI programming. The Sr. Manager will also provide communication recommendations and assistance to the company’s recruiting and onboarding leads, with projects such as social media promotion of open positions and reviews of job descriptions and onboarding documents. As needed, the Sr. Manager may also guide change management and provide coaching on communications best practices with staff and executives. The Sr. Manager will also create measurable Objectives & Key Resources (Key Performance Indicators) which will be used to track and report project success.
