Role Description

Responsibilities:

Our Head of Marketing, Brand & Communications overall responsibility will be to ensure the company vision and mission is optimally reflected in all external facing areas. This entails three main areas of responsibilities:

Help drive our ambitious sales targets

  • Drive awareness and demand of our method, its sustainability aspects and wide opportunity space, through
  • Media coverage - working with media outlets to get coverage of our method in relevant media
  • Targeted marketing in social media, search and publishers
  • Search engine optimization
  • Create a compelling understanding of the breadth of our offerings to different target groups
  • From better and carbon negative asphalt roads and concrete roads to gravel roads, sidewalks, parks/trails, as well as our broader offering of merchandise
  • Create compelling sales material
  • Help the sales team make compelling sales teasers, pitch decks and e-brochures
  • Bridge our duality of being a serious road refurbishment company with track record in Norway to a global startup with sky high ambitions

**Attractive and consistent brand communication: **

  • Ensure consistent communication of our brand, including the link between Carbon Crusher Inc. and the Norwegian subsidiary Crusher Norge
  • Work with brand to ensure it reflects our values and is deemed attractive by our customers, potential employees and investors
  • Monitor media and social media mentions, and leverage positive activity and flag/act on negative activity

    Inspire people of all ages to rethink convention and turn stones in helping the climate, through e.g,:
  • Get coverage and participation in international foras
  • Create industry events
  • Create a carbon negative merch line

Profile

  • Excellent personal and professional skill set and track record
  • Ambition, drive passion and alignment with the Carbon Crusher mission
  • Min. 3-5 years of experience in marketing and communications
  • Experience in B2B marketing & communication
  • Takes leadership of the marketing, brand and comms process, including target setting, taking initiative, working with external suppliers, etc.
  • Ability to lead a small team as we grow is desired. Previous experience leading a team not a requirement, but welcomed

Location

The Carbon Crusher team you will be working with will primarily be located in Oslo or New York. Co-location is viewed positively, but not a requirement for the right profile. However, working in a time zone that has some overlaps with both Oslo and New York is required. Regardless of location, we of course welcome and encourage flexible working solutions to ensure our team live sustainable and happy lives.
