At Amperon, we combine AI technology with deep energy expertise to deliver best-in-class forecasting software (for those not in the energy space, accurate forecasting is essential for a balanced grid to ensure your lights stay on). About this position

This role will be Amperon’s first VP of Sales. They will be responsible for building a repeatable sales structure, managing the sales team and closing new deals. Amperon serves electricity markets in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. We have entered a market that is in desperate need for our solution and where we are expected to grow 3x this year. Your compensation includes a competitive base and unlimited commission.

  • Manage the entire sales team from sales executives to sales development representatives.
  • Work closely with CEO and EVP of Growth to create and execute sales strategies.
  • Recruit and build out the Amperon sales team.
  • Understand the needs and pain points our clients face. Energy experience is strongly recommended, though not required.
  • Collaborate deeply with the product team to incorporate feedback and strengthen the offering
  • Knowledge in selling B2B, SaaS products to enterprise clients.
  • Strong communication skills with both clients and the rest of the Amperon team.
  • Consistently meet and exceed quota for the sales organization.
  • Use Hubspot and other sales tools to utilize your time and document your activities and conversations.
  • Strong interest in energy and grid sustainability is a must. You don’t have to have experience in this industry, but an interest in this fascinating topic is a must.
  • Fully remote with some travel to meet clients face-to-face and conferences.
  • Uncapped commission for closing deals.
