Summary of Role

Palmetto is seeking a highly skilled and strategic VP of Revenue Operations. This person will be responsible for operationalizing the mission, vision, and strategy of Palmetto across the GTM teams. In this role, you will create the framework to measure, report, and interpret sales funnel signals. This person will use a buyer-centric and data-driven lens to establish and execute strategies to achieve predictable revenue growth. You will provide leadership to the sales organization and counsel the GM’s/CRO in implementing GTM organization goals. Under your leadership, you will build and guide a team of operations and analyst professionals - based across the US - in building out our revenue strategy for the company.
We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiasm for our mission, and of course, the ability to turn on a dime when necessary. Ownership and problem-solving skills will be key to success.

  • Salestech and Martech to support operations
  • Marketing operations

Expected Outcomes:

  • Creation/Alignment of Revenue Dashboards that outline our Forecast/Budget versus Actuals. This would include segmentation by channel with a cumulative roll-up by region, division, and company-wide. This would include financial KPIs represented in a trending fashion for each.
  • Re-alignment of compensation plans by channel with finance/revenue teams that are in alignment with our 12-month roadmap goals.
  • Establishing a cadence for marketing spend/CAC analysis as it relates to 2 key areas: sales member acquisition and consumer acquisition.
  • Develop financial modeling for internal headcount investment, by channel, based on our current/future state unit economics.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading sales or revenue operations
  • Experience with channels sales models and channel activation strategies
  • In-depth understanding of compensation strategies and how to incentivize behavior and performance
  • Highly analytical; able to identify and optimize key growth drivers
  • Proficient in financial modeling; can build both tops down and bottoms up models of sales tactics laddering to business performance.
  • Track record of collaborating with cross-functional partners to lead transformation and growth
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce and building dashboards across channels
  • Expert level understanding of marketing and sales tech stacks
  • The maturity, judgment, and self-confidence to operate effectively with a high level of independence.
  • Organizational chops to build a high impact rev ops function from the ground up, in a high growth environment
  • Pricing, proposals, and proficiency with a modern CPQ system
  • Passionate about the potential for green energy to mitigate climate change
