We are searching for an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team @ Linear Labs Inc in Fort Worth TX! We are seeking a sophisticated and talented professional who can thrive in the dynamic environment of a start-up.

The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist will report to the Director of Talent and is responsible for a variety of tasks and assigned duties to keep our facility front office running smoothly. This is not a remote opportunity; the person selected for the opportunity, will need to work onsite Monday-Friday.

What You'll Do

- Ability to work onsite @ our facility in North Fort Worth (Fossil Creek area) Monday-Friday.
- Answer phone calls, assist callers, transfer calls, and take messages. Low volume of calls.
- Greet visitors, vendors, and candidates entering the facility; accept and sign for deliveries.
- Complete morning and afternoon checklist consisting of light cleaning (clean door) to general front office tasks.
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies; place and expedite orders for supplies. Point of contact, internal and external, for all supplies (office, cleaning, and kitchen supplies).
- Create and submit purchase orders (PO’s) for needed supplies, lunches, and other items.
- Manage and maintain various system and business platforms.
- Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, call for repairs, maintain equipment inventories and evaluate new equipment and techniques (Printers, copiers, small kitchen equipment).
- Manage weekly Friday lunch for staff. Order lunch, set up for lunch, clean-up after lunch.
- Assist with onboarding new hires by creating access badge and desk set-up.
- Assist with creating and editing documents such as staff memos, reports, and correspondence.
- Schedule meetings and appointments as requested.
- Assist with setting up monthly Townhall meetings.
- Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

What You'll Bring

- College degree highly preferred (or in the process of obtaining degree) but not required. High school diploma required
- 2+ years’ experience working in an office environment
- Strong technical skills required including experience in Google Suite and MS Office.
- Must be tech savvy and be able to quickly learn systems to manage and troubleshoot as necessary.
- Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele
- Demonstrated experience handling confidential information – must be a Gatekeeper
- Must be able to “lean-in”, take initiative and work autonomously!
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- Must be collaborative, organized, detailed and resourceful
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic startup environment with competing priorities
- Able to change direction and adapt to change easily 
- Strong work ethic is essential
- A visionary who is passionate about growing and building a company
- Legally authorization to work in the US
