We are looking for a Human Resources and Business Operations Manager who can create and manage HR policies and also own the compliance necessary to run a startup as we grow. What You'll Do

• Manage our recruitment and hiring process, including new hire documents
• Help create job descriptions as needed
• Manage our background check process
• Ensure our compensation system is fair and equitable
• Manage compliance with legal requirements
• Manage compliance with business requirements, including insurance
• Manage our benefits process with our HR vendor (Gusto)
• Work with our accountants as necessary
• Assist with coordinating and approving travel and event logistics
• Assist with Board Resolution and customer contract documents
• Keep up with trends and new ideas in HR and suggest improvements
• Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR policies
• Prior experience with technical recruiting
• Be organized and detail oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively over email
• Have good judgment and be able to use it
• Be trustworthy and able to both work independently and to take direction
