As the People and Operations Coordinator for the Somerville office, you will play an important role in keeping our team of VIAneers Powered Up! As Somerville is also VIA’s global headquarters, you also will prepare the office and arrange logistics to host visitors from around the world.

In this role, you will:
- Take ownership and pride in the management of our beautiful new Somerville office and our local and international visitors.
- Be the main point of contact for all Somerville building management topics
- Assist with compiling documentation and executing regular company filings, such as tax filings, claims, state registration
- Support visitor logistics such as transportation, meals, lodging, scheduling, etc.
- Proactively anticipate employee office needs and suggest and/or implement process improvements.
- Keep our office inventory and kitchen supply cabinets well stocked
- Handle the mail and packages
- Support with various People and Operations (POps) and Marketing tasks:
- Coordinate with our POps and Marketing team to host team activities and events (both virtual and remote) that highlight and celebrate VIA’s values and mission
- Contribute to local onboarding of new VIAneers by preparing new hire welcome kits, working with POps team to set schedules, and in general, bringing good vibes
- Mail out VIA swag bags to customers and and media outlets
- Assist with the coordination of various Marketing campaigns
- Help with the seamless coordination of leadership travel on an ad-hoc basis
- Help bring smiles to VIAneer’s faces with special care gifts, awards, and prizes as they celebrate important milestones
**What you will bring to this role: **
- Experience in a client-facing or service-oriented role (hospitality and/or tourism industry experience welcomed)
- Exceptional organizational skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritize
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. French and/or German is a plus
- Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Flexibility to adjust to a dynamic work environment
