The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the review and close out of installation packages for financial submission. The primary objective of the role is to drive lower failure rates and help action resolution with expedience. They will also review inverter monitoring platforms to verify they are created accurately and provide associated accounts the proper access. They will support the Installation Quality Manager to gather data to drive Build Partner accountability and establish a culture of quality for the organization.

Strategic/Tactical Responsibilities

• Receive calls from crews onsite with install issues, and provide resolutions to prevent ICOs
• Assess installations and review job close out documentation
• Shorten installation correction response times
• Action financial submission kickback reasons
• Subject Matter Expert on installed system products
• Support installation best practices, customer site profile creations, and customer satisfaction
• Help to develop reports to track quality of installs and health of fleet
• Current on install material and methods, product trainings and integration of new product
• Help cultivate performance analytics on response times, common install quality issues, and repeating post-install service visits
• Verify all closeout documentation
• Create cases and action teams as needed for JCO completion
• Assess final design and action remediation (edit or task design)
• Create and review monitoring sites, layout, and link to proprietary software
• Resolve closeout package kickbacks for fast resubmittal turnaround times

• Program Manager, Installation Quality

Requirements:

• Expert oral and written communication skills to properly direct field service
• Must be able to collaborate and work with various market teams
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of solar industry product preferred
