To fully unlock the potential of this opportunity, Terabase is developing an interconnected software and construction automation platform. We work alongside project developers, owners, and engineering & construction firms to support the design, optimization, and construction of huge solar projects around the world. Our team is a blend of solar-industry veterans and newbies, thought-leaders, dreamers, software, electrical and mechanical engineers, coders, product managers, project managers, and sales and marketing professionals. The Role

As an early member of the Terabase HR team you will work, learn, and grow in Terabases unique operating environment and culture: high-growth, innovative, lean, and values-driven. As the HR team, we hope to demonstrate the following characteristics: adaptability, curiosity, resourcefulness, problem solving, pro-activity, and collaboration. The recruiter will be responsible for the creation and implementation of talent initiatives designed to attract high-performing, high-potential candidates who will help drive our business forward. We expect all levels of HR to partner effectively with the Business Units they support and operate as a stakeholder in identifying business needs. They will manage the full life-cycle recruitment including staffing strategy, determining critical skillsets, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and facilitating debrief meetings.

This role is remote, with occasional travel (<10%).

Responsibilities

  • Lead all (internal and external) talent acquisition across business units including: stakeholder management, talent sourcing, interviewing, candidate experience, job offers, feedback collection.
  • Develop staffing strategies based on labor market, benchmarking, and competitive analysis.
  • Build talent pipeline; proactive sourcing for technically skilled candidates, create and nurture relationships with external talent sources, and keep on leading edge of best practices.
  • Engage with managers on staff planning, strategy and receiving proper approvals for open positions.
  • Ensure alignment with (and provide input to) finance on budgets for new hires, coordinate on reporting on open requisitions and track time to hire in the system.
  • Act as an advisor and authority on position titling, compensation and leveling to ensure job titles and levels are aligned with the Company and that every new hire has a job description.
  • Drive the usage and adoption of the ATS and train managers on use as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field or equivalent blend of education and work experience in our industry.
  • 3-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Understanding of the software, engineering and/or climate tech sectors.
  • Knowledge of contemporary recruiting and employment practices and their strategic and operational implications.
  • Strong planning, coordination, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Proven ability to foster relationships with hiring managers and working partnerships with a broad range of people.
  • Enthusiastic promoter of all things Terabase to both internal and external hires.
