Technical Recruiter
Lilac Solutions is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our People team. In this impactful role you will find and attract passive technical candidates with diverse skillsets. You will collaborate closely with the hiring managers, and engineers to continue to grow the company and enhance our strong company culture. We will also look to you to create recruiting best practices and creative sourcing strategies - all while recruiting amazing people at Lilac!
The Technical Recruiter will report to the Director of People and can be remote or work onsite in our Oakland, CA office. If the selected candidate is remote, they will be expected to spend a few weeks onboarding at the Oakland location and visit periodically throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle engineering recruitment process from sourcing and interviewing to closing.
- Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers and serve as a partner throughout the process.
- Operate as a talent researcher, identifying passive and diverse technical talent from a variety of sources.
- Serve as an advocate and guide for candidates throughout the recruiting process, deeply understanding the unique motivations, interests and needs of each candidate.
- Identify and design strategic initiatives to meet hiring initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree or work experience highly desired
- Previous experience identifying top talent including Chemical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Control/Systems Engineers, etc.
- Proven track-record of identifying, qualifying, and closing exceptional technical talent
- Accountability for delivering outcomes. This includes following through, making, and defending difficult decisions, and driving progress
- Collaborative mindset and great relationship-building skills with fellow team members, hiring partners, and candidates
- Experience using effective methods to source highly sought-after after/high demand technical talent
- Ability to engage passive talent with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Passion for and interest in diversity and inclusion
